For my first attempt, I decided to step right out of my comfort zone and take a street photo at night. I used the Sigma 17-70mm lens at f8, iso100, for 5 Seconds. I placed the camera on a bench, I would definitely use a tripod if I was doing this photo for any other reason than experimenting.

The second photo is a portrait, again I have never tried. This was taken with a reading lamp for lighting. Taken with the Canon 90D with Sigma 17-70mm at f8 iso100 for 1/2 a second.

I love the night time photograph with the warm orange glow of the street lights highlighting the building’s, as well as the way you have captured the slow movement of night with the faint trail of a cars tail lights.
The portrait photograph also using a subtle light highlights the detailed features of the woman’s face nicely.
