I saw the moon tonight on the way home, A stunning crescent with the rest of the moon visible in reflected earthlight. Although I had not got my camera with me I rushed home and managed to get a couple of shots of it just before heavy cloud covered it.
Both the same image just cropped in Photoshop I also used Topaz to sharpen up and remove noise as I took the photo handheld with the Canon 90D and the 100-400mm lens.
The settings F5.6 speed 1/10 of a second ISO 800 with spot metering to get the light right from the bright part of the moon . well, it worked :-)
